Although all damage is different, the price guide below is set out for the benefit of customers as to what the cost of a general repair may be. Either way, with no added VAT, any repair will be 20% cheaper for you!
SELF PREPARATION?
It is obviously a lot cheaper if you are able to prepare the vehicle yourself before handing the repair over to us. Preparation is probably the most time consuming part of any repair, it is very labour intensive, so self-preparation is a good way of keeping the final repair costs to a minimum. We must add though that any self preparation is entirely down to the customer because if not done properly, then it may affect the quality of the finished paint respray.
You may also search auto repair body centres for the cheapest price. But,Remember the saying that you get what you pay for? Those body shops that offer you a low cost paint job won’t be able to spend the necessary time preparing your vehicle for paint. Their business relies on volume to make a profit; the more vehicles they paint, the more revenue they will generate. The time they spend on preparation is the bare minimum.This can be a major problem, especially if the vehicle has be repainted before over the original factory paint!! The problem here is that extra coats of base coat (Primer) and new top coat are much thicker than the original paint your car left the factory with.. Unless prepared properly, you are almost certain to get lacquer biting and other chemical reactions which will affect the finished surface of the paintwork.
There is also the removal of body parts and maybe interior if you
are looking for a complete body respray.
Please remember that a quote for a respray is for the actual paint respray itself. This includes the preparation of the original paint work, materials & the time a respray takes to complete to an excellent standard.!
Therefore, any initial removal of parts not to be resprayed not only makes the auto paint technicians job easier and quicker, but also reflects in a cheaper cost overall for the customer.!!
We get lots of customers just wanting a bonnet, bumper or other body part resprayed... If these are removed by yourself and brought to us individually, the labour charge that would be added for removal and of course refitting is removed and therefore results in a cheaper cost as only the preparation and actual paint spray are included in the total cost. Well worth considering for those on a tight budget. !!

Once the repair is carried out to the damaged area,we then prepare the area to be painted with skill and our technical know how.The new paintwork will then be expertly blended with the original for a perfect match. Once this has been achieved, our special blend of lacquer is then applied to bring the repair back to it's original showroom condition before being finished by the finest of detailing and polished. All repairs are carried out by one of our expert body repair technicians.
